The max depth of the lake at 100' ensures boats can operate safely and evaporation is not a danger during the Texas summer heat. One of the most amazing facts is the amount of water in the lake. Texoma has a capacity of 5,393,000 acre-ft, thats living up to the phrase 'everything is bigger in Texas'.
